This June, allow BCMS to harmonise your summer at the pleasant surroundings of the Birmingham Medical Institute in Edgbaston with an evening concert featuring top prize winning young musicians from the West Midlands.

Directions: By car from the South West Take M6, leave at junction 6 (Spaghetti junction). Follow signs ring road west/M5 along A38M (Aston Expressway). Follow signs to Edgbaston. At Five Ways island take A456 (Hagley Road) to junction with Highfield Road, turn left. Straight across next set of traffic lights. Institute's car park is first entrance on the left by the high wall. Take A41 from Solihull to Edgbaston into Priory Road. At island bear left into Church Road, straight over traffic lights, where traffic merges with you. Turn right by the church and then left into Highfield Road. Institute's car park on right hand side just before the traffic lights. Taxi ranks outside Birmingham New Street station and outside Digbeth coach station. Trains from New Street station to Fiveways station run every few minutes. Catch No. 9 bus which takes you to the Hagley Road 'Plough and Harrow' stop.
