Bromsgrove Concerts' next concert is at Artrix on Friday January 20th 8pm with the Coull quartet and Mark Bebbington playing 20th Century and contemporary English chamber music.

Students from schools, colleges and music centres across the Midlands will be taking part in a competition for the Bernard Statman Memorial Prize for Chamber Music, at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
The competition is open to performers in two age groups (12 – 15 years) and 16 – 19 years) and they can play works for strings and or wind groups with or without piano, ensembles for wind and strings or duos.
All stages of the competition will be held at the Conservatoire on February 5th with the Finals’ Concert in the Recital Hall, at 7pm.

They will be invited to perform at the Society’s 60th anniversary concert, at the Adrian Boult Hall, on March 17th, 2012, when the featured artists will be the highly acclaimed Enesco Quartet.

The Birmingham
Chamber Music Society
promotes six recitals a year, giving Midland concert goers the opportunity to hear
