Young Performer's Platform 2006-2007

A new initiative starting in the 2006 season has been to include up-and-coming talent in the main concert programme.

A ten minute slot is given to young performers at the beginning of their musical career, a feature of BCMS concerts which has become very popular!

Dan dazzled us with the spectacular Clarinet Unlimited by Norbert Goddaer (b. 1933) and the beautiful Lied for Clarinet Solo by Luciana Berio (1925 – 2003). He is a post-graduate student at UCE Birmingham Conservatoire.
