Annual prize for Composition students at Birmingham Conservatoire BCU.

Winners of this BCMS sponsored competition enjoy the experience of having their works played by leading professional artists engaged by the Society.  The pieces receive their first public performance at one of the six concerts that form part of a BCMS season. Prize money is also given as an added incentive for Birmingham Conservatoire students bidding for success.  Last season's winner was Yiping Bai. Her work, Seasons, was performed by the Callino String Quartet at the BCMS concert on January 22, 2011.
